PRIVACY POLICY

The protection of your personal data is of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with legal requirements. In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing.
We reserve the right to update the information provided in this privacy policy without prior notice.

1.Website
This website is operated by Jodl Verpackungen GmbH, FN 108552k, Attersee Bundesstraße 7, A-4860 Lenzing. This notice describes how we, as the data controller, process your personal data in connection with this website.

1.1. What Data We Process About You
When you visit this website, we will collect the following information: the date and time you accessed a page on our website, your IP address, the name and version of your web browser, your operating system, the website (URL) you visited before accessing this website, and certain cookies (see section 1.3.).

1.2. Purposes of Data Processing
We will process the personal data listed in Section 1.1 for the following purposes:
– to provide you with this website and to continue to improve and develop it;
– to compile usage statistics;
– to detect, prevent, and investigate attacks on our website.

1.3. Legal Basis for Processing
The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation), which consists of achieving the purposes specified above in Section 1.2.

1.4. Transfer of Your Personal Data
For the purposes mentioned above, we will disclose your personal data to the following recipients:
– IT service providers we use;
– to government agencies and courts, to the extent required by law;

Some of the recipients listed above are located outside your country or process your personal data there. The level of data protection in other countries may not be equivalent to that in your country. However, we only transfer your personal data to countries for which the European Commission has determined that they have an adequate level of data protection, or we take measures to ensure that all recipients have an adequate level of data protection.

1.5. Duration of Storage
We will generally store your data for a period of three months. Data will only be stored for a longer period if necessary to investigate identified attacks on our website.

1.6. Cookie Policy

This website uses cookies. This website uses cookies to provide you with the best possible online experience. By using our services, you consent to the use of cookies necessary for the website to function properly. This website also uses so-called analytics cookies to analyze how our visitors use the site. By clicking “Accept,” you consent to the use of these cookies.

Cookies are small text files used by websites to make the user experience more efficient.

By law, we may store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for the operation of this site. For all other types of cookies, we need your permission.

This site uses different types of cookies. Some cookies are placed by third parties that appear on our pages.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie policy on our website.

Please include your consent ID and the date when you contact us regarding your consent.

Your consent applies to the following domains: jodl.at

1.7. Map Display
We use maps in two places on this website. Since the services used differ, we provide separate information for each.

Google Maps (Contact Page)
On our Contact page, we embed a map from Google Maps. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The map is not loaded until you have explicitly consented via our cookie banner. Without your consent, only a corresponding notice is displayed here; the map itself is not loaded.

With your consent, the map will be reloaded. During this process, your IP address and technical information about your browser, operating system, and the page you are viewing will be transmitted to the provider, as well as your interactions with the map, such as moving the map view. The provider may set cookies during this process. It cannot be ruled out that data may be transferred to the United States of America.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent (pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). You may withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on this website. For more information from the provider, please visit business.safety.google/privacy.

OpenStreetMap (Home Page)
On the home page, we display our company locations on a map generated using the open-source Leaflet library. The map data comes from the OpenStreetMap open data set and is loaded from servers operated by the OpenStreetMap Foundation; the library itself is provided via a content delivery network (unpkg). No Google map is displayed on the home page.

When you visit the page, your browser loads the necessary program files and map sections directly from the servers of the providers listed. In the process, your IP address is transmitted—along with information about your browser, your operating system, and the page you visited—due to technical requirements. We cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be transmitted to servers outside the European Union. We have no control over whether or to what extent the providers process this data further.

This map view does not set any cookies or store any data in your browser. We do not analyze your usage behavior or create profiles based on it.

The purpose of the processing is to provide a clear overview of our locations. The legal basis is our overriding legitimate interest (pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation) in ensuring that this website is functional and easy to navigate. For more information, please visit osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy.

Your personal data (such as, in particular, your name, address, contact information, email address, and phone number) may be processed by us for the purpose of initiating business relations regarding our own range of services, including text documents (such as correspondence) that are automatically generated and archived. Personal data will be deleted 3 years after contact, unless there is another legal basis or another legitimate purpose for its processing.

3. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data
Under applicable law, you are entitled, among other things (subject to the conditions of applicable law), (I) to verify whether and what personal data we have stored about you and to receive copies of this data, (II) to request the correction, supplementation, or deletion of your personal data that is incorrect or is being processed in violation of the law, (III) to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data, (IV) under certain circumstances, to object to the processing of your personal data or to revoke any consent previously given for such processing, (V) to request data portability, (VI) to know the identity of third parties to whom your personal data is disclosed, and (VII) to file a complaint with the competent authority.
